| Introduction | Hi, I’m Robin—mom of three, special education advocate, and the voice behind this blog. My journey into advocacy began out of frustration when my oldest was identified with dyslexia in 2020. I quickly realized how tough it is to get the right support. Since then, I’ve learned everything I can—not just for my own kids (who also have ADHD, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and auditory processing challenges), but to help other families going through the same struggles. I’ve completed COPAA’s SEAT 1.0 and 2.0 courses and their Reading Learning Path, and I try to approach every family’s story with empathy because I’ve been there. This blog shares personal stories many parents will recognize, so you know you’re not alone. |
