| Introduction | I am old enough to know that the current conservativism will eventually give way to some modicum of reason. In the meantime I will assume my rightful position as the light from the lighthouse leading us through these troubled waters. I am a proud PFLAG mom and grandmother. I am a staunch advocate of the rights of those with less voice than me. Most of all, I am an expatriate Scandanavian and am a formidable force to reckon with. I love the youth of America and know that they need our support and guidance (regardless what they think). This includes education in the ways of L'amour. I am committed to telling them the truth about sex and about how not to catch anything as they go forward in their quest for companionship. My foremost belief is that no matter what our politicians and school boards think is appropriate... our kids will be sexual and they shouldn't have to suffer for that. Have a Maslow moment folks and keep it real. Let's help our youth grow up safe! |
