Introduction	I am an author and an active church member. I write monthly articles for the Fellowship of Christian Writers (FCW), Tulsa, OK., and participate in their critique groups. My book, Tale of Tails with a Thirst for Verse is available at http://www.jamestatebook.com. It contains both secular and sacred pieces carefully selected from my previously written stories and poems. Many of these pieces have won awards in various publications. For several years I wrote bi-monthly articles for the Spirit-led Writer, Washington, DC, and for the Fellowship of Christian Poets (FOCP), Ocala, FL [See their website] With more than 600 published pieces, my articles and poems have appeared in many publications including The Saturday Evening Post, Route 66 Magazine, Word Aflame, Pest Control Technology, Forest Heritage News, The Ready Writer, Calliope, and several newspapers.
