Introduction Living in DC now for about 9 years, I am married to a fabulous gentleman who is an attorney and happens to be from the great state of Kansas. He's lived here 14 years now. We are creating a beautiful home and family in VA (DC Metro). We have found a wonderful church community where the Lord's love abounds and talking about sin openly and freely is welcomed - and we see the Holy Spirit heal the depth of our wounds here. It's a beautiful thing. I enjoy reading, watching films and theatre (when we find our way into DC for it), having deep and diverse conversations, travelling, hot tea, flavored coffee, journalling, great music - live and on my phone/in the car, etc. Just recently, I have ventured into the world of podcasts. We have a sweet little girl, and are looking forward to welcoming another child into our family later this year (2019).
