| Introduction | After nearly 25 years in the newspaper business, things pop into my head that you ‘normal’ folk may find a bit odd. It’s an unavoidable side effect of all that time spent working nights and weekends to take out other people’s mental, physical, emotional and moral trash. But my newspaper disease is currently in remission, thank God. Unfortunately, all of those years writing, editing and reading pretty much demands I have somewhere a sandbox for my brain to play in. That’s where this blog comes in. An outlet for the bizarre and creative rattling around in my head. A sop for an ego that no longer has a writer’s audience.
