Introduction	I have been a professional software engineer since 1985. My specialty is enterprise software and operating system development, with a focus on behind-the-scenes, low-level code and debugging difficult problems. I have worked on the development of three different operating systems (VM/ESA, AS/400, and AIX) and numerous enterprise-class software products. I have taught training classes to employees as well as customers. I am currently employed by IBM in the Software Group, working on WebSphere software. The views expressed here are my own, and do not reflect the opinions of IBM or any of my past employers.
