| Introduction | I hope this blog will attract other people who are grappling with life after cancer treatment, other people who are fingers-crossed cured and attempting to move on with their lives. The backstory: I was diagnosed with cancer in April 2005. I was a happily married newlywed of 7 months and looking forward to starting a family. I completed active treatment in July 2006-- the path to a cure included two surgeries, 8 rounds of chemo, 6 weeks of radiation and a year of a miraculous wonder-drug called Herceptin. |
