(Counting his own education, has spent over 60 years in the classroom.) Served as signalman, U.S. Navy Amphibious Forces in WWII. Married for 61 years, father of two, grandfather to four, and great grandfather to eight. National gold medalist in back-to-back mini-golf tournaments, senior division. A surrogate grandpa to dozens since 1990.

Favorite Movies Places in the Heart, Ice Age, Field of Dreams, Stand and Deliver, Castaway, Shaw-shank Redemption, 100's more! Mainly "based on true stories, " courtroom dramas, realistic, thought-provoking and emotional!
Favorite Music Instrumentals, the popular classicals ( 3 B's, etc.), A Walk in the Black Forest, To Each His Own, Music Box Dancer, Roger Whitaker, and a little bit of a lot of genres, even Eddy Arnold!
Favorite Books Not enough room here! Most of John Grisham's work, John Steinbeck, some Faulkner, and my daughter's own story, "Hostage."
