Introduction	A quirky, left-of-center, mid-life male who is trying to reconnect with his roots, and using this Blog as a tool to do so. I am married with kids. Two of them, to be precise. They are wondrous and both beautiful in their own unique way. My wife is a joyous person; in some moments, angelic. I work - not that I like it - in technology for a large, monolithic software firm. I have no connection to my career right now, though I have an excellent job. At the moment, my life is inside-out. Some of it is good, some bad, some just is. But I need to sort through it. Piece it together. Come to peace with myself. And that is why I'm here.
