About me

Introduction	I chose to blog about dance because I am very passionate about the art of dance. I was a dancer for 10 years at Legein Dance Academy in Coventry, RI. I recieved the Dedicated Dancer Award from my studio at the young age of 13. I participated in a 3 year program, DTCB, in Randolf, MA to acquire my certificate to teach dance. The first year I won the Highest Average on the performance and written tests. The second year I won the Highest Average in Ballet. The third year I won the Highest Overall Average for all 3 years and also the Teach-In Award (which was a class in which each student picked a dance step out of a hat and taught it to the class, right there on the spot). The entire experience was unforgettable and so much fun. Through this blog, I hope to share the interesting news and upcoming events I find while I explore dance in Rhode Island, along with some of my opinions.
