| Introduction | Shirley Cushmeer was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. In her chilldhoold years, she'd always had passion for dancing and acting. And still have some of her tap dancing skills. She attended Dawson Technical Institute and landed a government job as a Administrative Assistant for 12 years. After leaving her job, she moved to Minnesota and enrolled at Minnesota Community and Technical Institute and is now majoring Theatre Arts. She performed her first production, Animal Farm at MCTC and the Complex Theatre in Los Angeles, California and Hennepin Center for the Arts in Minnesota where she was a student of Sandra Horner's Method-Meisner-Lewis class.
