| Introduction | Pickle and Jam gives reference to a time when growing your own food, making your own clothing, and overall do-it-yourselfness was necessary. Milking cows and churning butter were how many people began their days just shy of 80 years ago. Although a very small percent of us still do these things today, many people are starting to remember the advantages of self-reliance, combined with today's technology. Here at Pickle and Jam, I will share with you my families journey through growing our garden, preserving our food, doing-it-ourselves, and much more.
