| Introduction | My Name is Michael Sinklier, I am twenty one years old, and I am currently serving as a Young Adult Volunteer through the PC(USA) in Lima, Peru. I work with a youth group in Lomas de Carabayllo, one of the poorest districts in the northern region of Lima. The group is called JESHENI (Juntos Estarémos por Siempre Hasta Encontrar Nuestros Ideales = Together we will be forever until we reach our ideals) and they operate a local radio in Lomas broadcasting on themes of Poverty, Human Rights, Protecting the Environmemt, and other existing injustices. |
