Introduction	At the age of 18 I registered to vote as a Democrat. After 28 years I became so sick of the two party system I decided to declare no party affiliation. I am drawn to progressive causes, and if I had the time would be very involved in working to affect positve change. I have become quite interested in The Green Party, though until we experience real election reform a third party campaign will be nothing more than symbolic. I have also become quite fascinated with Anarchist philosophy, though true Anarchy would be impossible outside the confines of a small group or commune. I do not believe in organized religion, but people who do certainly have the right to pursue their beliefs. I believe in Spiritualism, but there are many aspects of various faiths which make sense to me. I have studied the teachings of Shakti Gawain in my qwest for consciousness and awareness.
