Introduction Standing for the quirky, the questionable, and the unconventional voices of tomorrow, Hayley Michelle Trachtenberg is a playwright, poet, novelist, and musician. She began her journey into the world of theatre in 9th grade when she entered MCVTS School of Arts, in East Brunswick NJ. Ever since, she has been surrounded by a plethora of professionals that have helped her grow into a mature artist. So far in her budding career, she has been a Teaching Assistant at the Samuel French Institute (Under the Direction of her mentor, Crystal Skillman), an Assistance Musical Director/Intern/Musical Accompaniment for the Summer Program at New Jersey Playwright's, and has been working with Young Playwrights (NYC) in their Advanced Writer's Workshop since the beginning of 2013. She has also won many essay competitions; including the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial competition, where she spoke the Washington D.C. Martin Luther King Memorial Ground-Breaking Ceremony.
