| Introduction | My name is Louisa and I am an ex FAI hip patient. I experienced one failed hip scope in 2009, before finding a good surgeon and having a further two surgeries with Paul Jairaj of London Sports Orthopaedics in 2012. There isn't much I haven't experienced about the ins and outs of FAI, the symptoms, the process of diagnosis and FAI hip arthroscopy surgery. I am experienced in how and where to get diagnosed, finding experienced surgeons and post operative rehab. Learn from my experiences and mistakes over the course of 3 hip surgeries. FAI hip impingement is a bewildering and new found condition and hip arthroscopy is a new surgery with many pitfalls, without the care of an experienced FAI surgeon. |
