| Introduction | Im an asthmatic. Im a former smoker and drug user. I was a competitive gymnast as a kid, and have loved to mountain bike since I learned to ride a bike at age 4. I am a runner, not really all that fast, but I can go for a fairly long time. I was a skateboarder, and broke several bones as a result. I love to hike and backpack and bike aside from my running. I love motorcycles as well. Im not one for religions, and think its cliche to say that Im spiritual, not religious, but I do have a connection with Zen. Hence, the name of my blog, and if you know me personally, a couple of my tattoos refer to Buddhist philosophy and practice. I do zazen, and find running to be just an extension of my zazen. Aside from physical exploits, I love good beer, food, family, and friends. |
