Introduction	My love for cooking commenced when I was 9, I came up at that time with a concoction of all my mothers spices [some basic, some exotic ones that she loved to try] and rubbed them on pork chops that I later fried and added Lemon to. It came out great ) or at least my brother and mother said so,lol] Through out the years I found a love in baking and making different things. Cooking has never scared me but that might be because I grew up in a home where my mother tried recipes and my grandmother always had a home cooked meal ready.In my culture its a way to show love, appreciation, mourn or celebrate. Its such a basic human right but one that can be made very nutritional and with so much warmth that it will always be welcomed.
