IntroductionUnderachiever extraordinaire... I've not exactly lit the world on fire since high school graduation. To my credit, I haven't managed to gain 50% of my senior year body weight since then, but for all intents and purposes I should be a famous writer by now. Of course, one would actually have to write something for that to occur. Instead I teach new generations of high schoolers the talent that I never use... and they (it's kismet, I tell you) do their best to emulate the whole not-writing thing. So, teaching. Yeah. It's a challenge. It's entertaining. Is it inspiring? Jury's still out on that one. I'm waiting on the pendulum to swing back to the when-all-students-were-good days that the old, crusty teachers like to reminisce about in the faculty lounge. (Right now it seems that most are lazy bums. Change that, folks!) When I'm not shaping young minds into a focused worldview, I like to read. I'm a TV nut. I've been wasting a ton of time playing my new Nintendo Wii lately. And one of these days, I'm gonna hit Powerball and become filthy and undeservedly rich. Or I'll just have to get off my butt and write that book.
