| Introduction | When my husband asked me what I thought about him going into pastoral ministry, I said, "It's about time". Little did I know (or think about) that would mean I would be his "Pastor's Wife" several years later... I am not your typical PW and I find that many PW's feel the need and pressure to be perfect. Well I'm here to tell you it's okay to drop the occasional "F" BOMB when you chose it wisely and it's okay to make mistakes, to wear jeans to church with a stained top and no make up on, it's okay to have a tattoo, it's okay to not be the perfect mother, and it's okay to have a messy house even when that unexpected member of your congregation shows up at your door step. It's okay to be YOU because Jesus made YOU beautifully and wonderfully, imperfections and all. |
