| Introduction | My favorite childhood memories were when my mothers Italian family would get together. The smell of Italian cooking filled the entire house, but nowhere was it more inviting, more welcoming...as in the kitchen. We would all gather around the kitchen table...a large table with many, many chairs. That was our meeting place. That was where we all shared our thoughts, laughed, argued and loved each other. Some things never change. Today, when my friends stop over, we go straight to the kitchen table. There is something so special about friends around the kitchen table. |
