Introduction	I am the mother of four living in Sofia, Bulgaria. Life often takes unexpected turns, much like I did the other day trying to find a birthday party. Frustrated and void of any good direction or a map, I wanted to give up and take my child home. Something in me wouldn't let me do that . . . or perhaps it was her sweet voice from the backseat prodding me to locate her friends. Life offers little choice but to toil on so that's what I did that day. Without the map I made a few wrong turns but gained experience for my next journey. And . . . I now know where Kokolandia is in Sofia!
