| Favorite music | My hubby playing worship tunes on his guitar...oh how I wish I could sing and play...So many to name from Jackopierce, my sweet friend Cristy Cash, Jeremy Camp, Matt Redman, Coldplay, Village Church Worship & Charlie Hall to Pat Green & Kenny Chesney to Foo Fighters to Chopin. Very diverse at the B home. We love music. My favorite is to sit and listen to Matty play guitar in the front livingroom. He has a sweet heart for worship. Just sitting there picking tunes is a family favorite of ours. (I am sure Jobe Lewis is fantasic if he would ever get me a cd) Madison is amazing on the piano, I am not kinding ask anyone who has ever heard her play..mind blowing..(I have no musical talent so anything pretty much blows my mind)there are many others a list to long to name... |
| Favorite books | So many great ones. The Bible, Great Expectations, John Piper, Jerry Bridges, Breaking Free was pretty life changing for me, Pursuit of Holiness, Calm my anxious heart, Thomas Jefferson education, Kill a mockingbird, Our Covenant God, any Beth Moore, Intimate Issues and anything by Linda Dillow, Fresh wind and Fresh Fire, Fresh Faith, Sacred Marriage, Marriage on the Rock by Jimmy Evans, Ministry of Motherhood, Mission of Motherhood by Sally Clarkson, Mom walk by Sally Clarkson, Be Still and Know that I am God, Brennan Mannings books, and so many others. Books that cause me to think and grow. So many to name. I could start my own library, Matt would say I have already done that. Right now I am reading Grace Based Parenting again by Tim Kimmel, Respectable Sins by Jerry Bridges, 1 & 2 Corth, and Titus 2. Love the book of Ester. I am reading though different books of the bible to get to allow Him to better ground me. His WORD really just amazes me. Love being quite and sitting and being still enough to listen for His voice. It is amazing. |
