| Introduction | I was born in Pavia, little city with a long history. After graduating from the Fine Art Academy of Brera, Milan, I have specialized in historical illustration, from Ancient Greece and Rome to Napoleon (and more). I have a keen interest in the history, art and culture of Central, Nordic and Scandinavian Europe, from Bronze Age to Middle Ages and Renaissance, especially of the Merovingian period and the 15th-16th centuries. My artworks are always created and painted by hand.
