| Introduction | My life has exemplified the concepts of "What Color is Your Parachute?" Since high school, I've followed an invisible rip cord that has led me, organically, from one job, career, or school to another. I've been a silversmith, picture framer, reference librarian, clown, storyteller, community liaison/worker, volunteer coordinator, ceramic sculptor, artist, and teacher. Currently, I am creating my own tutoring business. I also do voice overs for fun and profit, or at least I audition for them. I love teaching, especially working one on one with children and adults. In the last year, activism around chemical pollution and sensitivity has moved to a high position on my priority list. In my solitary moments, I like to paint and collage on canvas. The more I teach, the more I learn. Every moment is a teachable moment when your eyes, ears, and heart are open! |
