| Introduction | Bernard E. Littlefield is a Maine native. After studying Biomedical Photographic Communications at the RIT in New York, he moved to Florence, SC to be the head photographer at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Although he found medical photography fascinating, his desire to be a portrait photographer led him back to Maine. In 1986, Bernie realized his dream of opening his own photography studio - BEL Portraits - specializing in destination weddings, family portraits, and commercial imaging. In 2017, Bernie moved BEL Portraits to Florida to start a new journey concentrating on Family and Wedding portraits.Currently, Bernie is one of only a few Certified Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman in the state of Florida. He is a Past President of the Professional Photographer’s Association of New England; is a Past President of the Maine Professional Photographer’s Association; is a member of the Professional Photographer’s Association of America; and is an alumni of the New England Institute of Professional Photography. |
