| Introduction | I am a Gemini. I am both an extrovert & introvert, mostly the first. I have always taken both solace and replenishment from nature, my sanctuary. This has enabled me balance; especially in my work as a massage therapist, writer, and mentor. On their journey of well being, I am able to act as a bridge for my clients who have sometimes forgotten the power they inherently possess. / As a child, the woods and meadows of my aunt’s backyard were where I went to escape life’s challenges. It was there that I discovered a place of magic and healing, a place to explore and immerse myself in the beauty of nature. A place to discover my true self. I am free to be the child I once was and always will be . . . while growing older at the same time. / Hiking is, for me, my walking meditation. I try to do this daily, and, when I can, I like to take long, weekend hikes or head out for weeks at a time. And that has lead me to this blog’s title, Hiking the Sacred Self. |
