Introduction	In May, I graduated from UC Berkeley with a small amount of savings, plans to become a lawyer, and a fear of submitting to adulthood. My solution was to take a year off to travel. My adventure began in New Orleans, and has led me to Chile, where I am teaching through a program sponsored by the Chilean government and the UN. I live with a wonderful family in a small town called Arica, and teach 10th and 11th grade at a Catholic school.
