| Introduction | I'm a Middle School Art Teacher and Mom of an amazing little 3 year old, Violet and a newly arrived baby girl, Ruby. I love crafting of all kinds, am inspired by Pinterest and HGTV and I'm very passionate about interior design. As an artist, I love working with pencil and do freelance portraiture as well various other commissions including murals and belly cast painting. I love to explore with collage and mixed media on canvas and am inspired by the way textiles and other unconventional materials can come together harmoniously. I am currently venturing in to the ever growing blogosphere sharing my own DIYs as I work on adding some funky, fun personality to my 1920s American Foursquare in the burbs of New Jersey and I have big plans. Every day I find another creative outlet and enjoy a new artistic challenge. It keeps things fresh and interesting and is something I truly and deeply love. I hope to connect with as many people along the way and share my love for all things creative. |
