Introduction	I'm a 52-year-old mother with grown children as well as four school-age adopted children. Three of these girls came from West Africa and one is a special needs child from Florida. Each was in desperate need of an education and they were all on different academic levels. I knew it would be a challenge but I was up for it! I hold a B.S. in Communication Disorders. I hold teacher certification as well. I have years of experience working with children of all ages and disabilities. I have been a speech therapist in public school and practiced as a contract therapist in the private sector. I have taught in public school, private school, and obviously, homeschooled. I’ve enjoyed all the experiences I was fortunate enough to have. However,I love homeschooling the most. The time I spend educating the girls and them educating me is priceless!
