Introduction I'm the proud mama of a beautiful little boy, though a husband and a couple more kids would make things even better. Someday maybe that little fantasy will come true. I love to read and to write, and once upon a time, I was pretty handy with a flute. Ditto for the bassoon, but that was a lot longer ago. If my little fantasy world were real, I think the world would be a much better place, but alas, it is not so. I am a mystery wrapped in an enigma surrounded by a riddle, and if you want to know what all that means, check out my MySpace page to get a clue.
Interests Reading, music, writing (novels, diary, music, horrible poetry that should never again see the light of day, etc.), being with my family and friends, discussing vital topics of the day, and pretending that I own my cats while denying the fact that it's really the other way around.
Favorite Movies Chick flicks, action pics, and comedies. Ever After, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and The Patriot are right up there. Anything Mel Brooks has ever done is genius and Adam Sandler movies are a close second. Except for Punch Drunk Love - that movie sucked. What was he thinking?
Favorite Music I will listen to virtually anything. I love Gaelic Storm and Brian Littrell (both as a member of the Backstreet Boys and as a solo artist). I was born and raised on country and I still love it, but I also like rock and classical music. Jazz, swing, and Japanese pop music are also in heavy rotation on my iPod.
Favorite Books Time Enough for Drums by Ann Rinaldi, The Master Butchers Singing Club by Louise Erdrich, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Emma by Jane Austen, Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen, Mansfield Park by Jane Austen, Persuasion by Jane Austen...I'm sensing a theme here. Anyone else picking up on it? I also like S.E. Hinton and Charles Dickens. Louisa May Alcott was also an excellent author. The Inheritance is a terrific book. (At least I think that was the name of it; it's been a while since I read it.)

Your superpower is that you smell like dandelions whenever someone lies. How will you maintain your secret identity?

I would pass it off as a very cheerful-smelling perfume that I couldn't pass up. I found it in a now-defunct department store and bought their entire stock of it. Sadly, Eau de Pissenlit is no longer available and I am down to my last hundred bottles. It's not for sale!
