Introduction	Ed is a graduate of Fairfield University and the University of Wisconsin. He’s lived in Middletown for 10 years with his wife Lucy McMillan and they have twin sons at Macdonough Elementary School. He also has two adult sons. Ed is co-owner of Motion Inc., Film and Video production. He’s a writer, producer and director and has won many awards for his work. He began his career as a writer for The Hartford Times and is co-founder of the Middletown Eye, and has played an active role in reporting municipal events over the past four years. Ed has been a Middletown activist for as long as he’s been in town, working successfully in efforts to prevent a big box store from being built downtown, and convincing the city, state and Army to pick an appropriate site for the Army Reserve Training Center. Ed has served on the Connecticut Commission for Culture and Tourism, and has hosted a community radio show on WESU-FM, and for twenty-five years, a music program on WWUH-FM. For ten years Ed was an adjunct film professor at Trinity College.
