| Introduction | I am a Canadian living on Canada's West Coast near Vancouver after living in South Africa and St. Vincent, W. I. for many years. I am retired and live close to my son and daughter. I am interested in writing and I am presently the leader of a Writer's Circle in the Legacy Builders (Seniors) of the church I attend. I believe strongly that we need to write down the stories of things that have happened to us lest we forget them or are taken away. This was brought home to me when a brother, who was a great story teller, passed away and never got to recording his stories as he had intended. Now his family want me to preserve some of his stories as well as my own hence the inspiration for this blog. I hope you enjoy reading what I have written and that you too will start recording your own stories for your and your family's sake. |
