| Introduction | I am a married Mom with 2 children (an 8 year old adventurous/nature boy son and a 4 year old girly ballerina daughter, but tough enough to hold her own) and work part-time as a personal trainer, water aerobics instructor, and Silver Sneakers Instructor. We also have another baby boy on the the way!! My passion is health, nutrition and wellness. I also love Jesus, the outdoors, arts and crafts, music, dancing, roller or ice skating, rollerblading and biking. So many things to do...so little time... My husband is my fun, adventurous counterpart who is probably the exact opposite of me. He is probably the most efficient man I've ever known, very streamlined in his thinking, a good problem-solver and all those good, engineer-type qualities. He is a mechanical engineer and works in the "green" business. He is a wonderful father to our children and always adds lots of fun, excitement and laughter to our family. |
| Interests | Other interests include...hanging out with family of any sort (I love family), having a good converstation with a friend over hot tea, having any kind of adventure (rock climbing, camping, hiking, exploring a new place), and travelling and/or road trips |
| Favorite movies | Way Out West w/ Laurel and Hardy - I love this movie because I laugh so hard at silly, slapstick comedy, and I can still hear my Grandma and Grandpa just hee-hawing at this movie. Good times. I also love to watch a good romantic comedy with my husband. :) |
| Favorite music | I love so many different kinds it is hard to pick a favorite! I do love folksy/bluesy/bluegrassy like Julie Miller, Gillian Welch, and of course Alison Krauss; Americana also, but also love old-time country such as Patsy Cline, and good ole jazz/funk that gets me dancin'. A little latin music or swing also get me dancing - I just LOVE all kinds of different music. |
| Favorite books | Hinds Feet on High Places - I just love this book...the rest are...well..non-fiction -I'm kind of a nerdy non-fiction, want-to-learn-something-new kind of gal. |
