I raised my amazing son Jake for 8 years as a single parent before I met and married my husband in August 2008. When Joel and I married I became a step-parent to my beautiful Madison. After a year of marriage, and quickly approaching 30 (me, not Joel. He passed that milestone some 6 years ago) we decided that if we were ever going to expand our family, there was no time like the present. 5 weeks later I was 4 weeks pregnant. Our precious Andrew "Blake" was born on July 1, 2010. |

| Favorite books | While I would love to fill the section full of classics from Hemingway, Shakespeare, Swift and Thoreau, I am afraid that is just not me. I enjoy reading "easy" books. Books that I can relate to and get lost in. Books set in modern times about people in love. I cry at every one of Nicholas Sparks' happy endings and wait impatiently for the movie to come out. I devoured all 4 of the Twilight books in as many weeks and sat at the New Moon premier at Midnight. I am Team Edward for those interested. |
