Introduction	My name is Kelsey Carter. I am currently attending Johnson and Wales University. I have obtained my Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts, and will be continuing my education in the fall for my Bachelor's Degree in Restaurant and Food Service Management. My concentration for this degree is Culinary Capstone, but I am self educating myself on Sustainability and Wellness. I chose this concentration because of my view on personal responsibility to the world. I hope that with my education, any restaurant or establishment I work in, I can educate employees of the important responsibility restaurants should have when it comes to Eco-systems, waste management, and product use. I dream of traveling around the world and getting to experience anything and everything there is. I want to build a repertoire of skills and experiences to use as a muse for restaurant concepts and developments. My goal is to open, maybe one or maybe many different restaurants and own and operate them as Executive Chef.
Interests	I am interested in anything that is a learning experience, and anything that is an adventure. More specifically I enjoy learning about history, food, wine, nature, and culture. I also love kayaking, snorkeling, and fishing. I also have a huge interest in marine biology. I hope to use my interest in marine life and my passion in cooking to help pursue the sustainability of fish species and coral reefs.
