| Introduction | I am a wife, mother of six, and grandmother of 24 and counting. Because of Jerry, we have been on all seven continents. His motto is "Live with wonder." Because of him, my life is filled with wonder. Because of his enthusiasm (which is contagious!) we lived in Argentina for 2 years serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We drove 60,000 miles including crossing the Strait of Magellan and going from the tip of Tierra del Fuego up to the borders of Bolivia and Brazil. We also traveled throughout Uruguay and Paraguay. Jerry was the South America South Area Welfare Specialist. I was his official assistant - which meant that I sat in the passenger seat with the map in my lap! He will insist that I tell you that I did more than that. But, that map did become another appendage. All of our children are married to amazing spouses who complete our family. Our grandchildren range in ages from 1 to 16. They are the cutest, brightest, funniest kids in the world. Don't try to argue with me! |
