| Interests | Have considerable first-hand knowledge of the history having lived in my local area of Hampstead area for 40+ years. Take a very active interest in matters of national and local authority policies, focusing on Health, Education, Community Safety, Housing. Member of Imperial College and Hampstead Royal Free Hospital Healthcare NHS Trusts. School Governor for Primrose Hill school for four years. Founder member of the Camden NW3 primary school places "Working Group". Twice elected Co-opted member of the Camden Housing and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee and HASC Leaseholder service charges panel. Vice Chair of a local SNT Police panel since 2010. Three times elected Co-opted member of a large and successful Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) on a very large Belsize estate of over 2000 people. ---- Biography: I studied Photographic Science at Reading and then Computer Science at Imperial College London. Worked as a Researcher for several years in Logic Programming, user-interface design and online catalogue systems research for the British Library. Then moving into the commercial sector working as a Management Consultant, Information Technologist, Business Analyst and Project Manager. Specialising on New Technologies in “Cloud” and “Data Farm”, CO2 reduction server energy efficient concepts and now focusing on Management Consultancy within the SME sector. Looking at ways to improve business through change management, using the latest IT ideas and in some cases defocusing away from standard IT thinking! Now focusing on Media Technology and Workflow systems in the Film Industry, with several film credits to my name I love the fusion that now exists between Film and IT which allows all my skill sets to be used. |
