| Introduction | I was born and raised in Lutterworth, Leicestershire. The eldest of six children, and the only girl. Lutterworth is famous for many things: The Bible was translated by John Wycliff, using fifty scholars, and took fifteen years to complete. The Gideon Bible is/was printed here. In recent history, Sir Francis Whittle developed the jet engine in Lutterworth, when the town of Rugby, refused to let him set up his workshop there. |
