| Introduction | Hi!! My name is Ann Marie AKA Skabootch! My platinum locks are a host to many hats,Wife,Mother,Nana,Sister,and friend. This was a big year for me as I celebrated the big 50! Most people I know talk of this birthday with dread,but I am embracing with open arms fabulous fifty and feel I am embarking on some of the best years ahead of me!I am a frustrated poet,interior decorator and party planner and to describe myself in one word would be "eccentric". I like to do different and weird things and I am always up for a challenge.I am not entirely sure where this blog will lead, but this is a "bucket list" thingy that I would like to accomplish. I do have some wisdom and insight that hopefully I can share with you but watch out for that whacky, unexpected side to me! I like to laugh but especially love to make others smile and laugh with me.........sit back, kick your shoes off,make some popcorn,(100 calorie bags of course!)as I hope you will join me on this zany adventure where hopefully I can share some useful information, make you laugh, share experiences and enjoy life that is simple but always with a bit of pandemonium! |
| Interests | Poetry, decorating, plants, animals (3 dogs,6 cats,2 birds, 1 hampster, 1 Arabian horse....unfortunately just lost the fish *sad face*)crocheting (start projects,get frustrated, restart projects.....completed 4 blankets at least)gardening inside and outside of house,riding and training with horses, (My Firecraker just had his 27th birthday and he is in retirement, so I have the use of a wonderful mare named Stella!), Antique and vintage shopping.....well ok shopping in general! |
