Introduction	Born and raised in Minnesota. Graduate of the University of Minnesota BA PolSci, George Mason University, M.Ed. curriculum and instruction. I have worked in a major Metro newsroom, the U.S. House of Representatives, lobbied for a trade association, full-time mom, and now teach young ones. Married since 1986 to my friend Furball. Two kids, JSB, born in '88, suffers from schizophrenia; Pony Girl '91, sweet thing starting college and finding her way in the world. Teacher of small children, passionate contemplative mystic, trying to remain optimistic. Just returned from a mission trip to Liberia, West Africa. Now, I'm trying to make sense of things.
