| Introduction | Eternal Tree is a nonprofit that supports The Hogar Wurmbrand Orphanage in Peru. Eternal Tree is affiliated with and supported by Big Tree, Inc., its employees, and friends. Located in Lima, the orphanage is home to 24 children that would otherwise face hunger, fear, and the crime or prostitution that is common on the streets of Peru. The children are given healthy food, clean clothes, and solid academic and spiritual foundations. The director of the home, Pastor Jose Zapata, encourages the children to learn and become successful members of society. The founder, Hogar Wurmbrand and his wife, Sabina, have known hardship. They endured persecution and imprisonment for over 14 years from both the Nazi and the Communist regimes in Romania for their faith in God. They saw the devastation in Peru from those regimes and vowed to help the children. We are excited to support this cause.
