| Introduction | I'm an American who just finished a term of nine months in the Republic of Georgia teaching English. Look up TLG online if you want to learn more about the program (it's awesome!). I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian, and would like live a life in the Church, perhaps through the monastic vocation. (For those curious about my name, I had a completely different (and a lot more normal, for Americans) given name at my birth. However, I am a convert to the Orthodox Church, and as such, took a saint's name at my acceptance into the Church. The name I took was Theophilos, my patron saint being Theophilos of Antioch; the Georgian equivalent of this name (and thus what I'm going by here) is Teopile.) |
