Ken Leavitt, Founder, Uptown Holistic Center is a Licensed and Certified Massage Therapist. With over twenty years experience training as a Lomilomi Massage Therapist, Ken practices under the name Uptown Therapeutic Massage at the Uptown Holistic Center. Lomilomi Massage is a Hawaiian tradition combining massage, energy balance and soft tissue work. Ken received his training on the Island of Kauai studying with local Hawaiians. Lomilomi Massage can have a positive effect on enhancing all of the body's systems: enhancing circulation, facilitating increased flexibility and joint mobility, calming and balancing the nervous system. Lomilomi has also been helpful in addressing anxiety, depression, and stress around life transitions. |
