| Introduction | JUDITH BRUNI is founder of Leslie Rivers International (LRI), www.LeslieRivers.com, an agency that fulfills on people’s artistic visions. She is a promoter, literary agency, producer, writer/editor and mentor. Her clients consist of authors, songwriters, writers, and other artists. Since 2005, LRI’s primary focus had been a high-end, no fee based literary agency for authors. She is a published poet, award nominated author (1998) and member of the national chapter of the Wordcraft Circle of Native Writers and Storytellers (since 1997). Bruni is currently active in (since 1994) and past President of the Cherokee Cultural Society of Houston. She served on the board of Houston MediaSource for 6 years (1999-2005), appointed by Mayor Lee Brown, and served on the Executive Committee as Parliamentarian; as Chairperson for the Community Relations Committee. She leads leadership programs for a global education company (since 1986) as a volunteer and is a former Sr Client Rep from IBM where she obtained 23 years of selling/marketing, customer satisfaction and program/project management training (1981-2004). Judith has started a walking group and festival in her neighborhood. |
