IntroductionTribal NGOs Consortium is a network of FATA based local NGOs/CSOs. This was initiated by Society for Rights and Development in 2010. Today it is the biggest and largest network of FATA based NGOs/CSOs. Total number of organization has increased from 200. This is an achievement of SRD. This network is meant to bring civil society organizations in FATA closer and to pressure the govt to give rights to FATA people which have been long neglected and snatched especially rights of women and children. Besides it develops an understanding among organizations over issues of people in FATA. It also supports organization to give them access to donors and skill. FRs CSN and FATA CSN are the sub networks of this main consortium. All these are run of Society for Rights and Development. Zar Ali Khan Afridi is its founding chairperson who happens to be Executive Director of Society for Rights and Development and Coordinator FRs Civil Society Network-FATA. Besides SRD has launched a new rights based commission in FATA called FATA Commission of Human Rights
