Introduction Michael Potter started his Extension career in Nueces County in February, 2001. Prior to that, he worked in both the retail and wholesale nursery industry and self employed as a landscape designer. From 1991 - 1997, he worked with the U.S. Department of Agriculture on the Big Island of Hawaii as a Plant Protection and Quarantine technician. His expertise lies in environmental education, landscape horticulture, tropical plants and landscape design. He started his employment with Montgomery County in September of 2012.
