| Introduction | I grew up in a loving, Christian household near Philadelphia, PA. I went to a liberal arts university in Amish-country. There, I led Bible Studies and refrained from consuming alcohol. Yet, despite the odds, I emerged a political "liberal." I've been on both sides of many of today's most divisive political battles and I feel my experience makes me uniquely qualified to comment on them.
