| Introduction | I'm an African American single mother who grew up in a predominately white community. I came to love Greenfield,MA and can remember when some residents didn't trust or like me much. I never felt that being a single mother was negative, but in fact a source of strength. I love to name drop and find myself fortunate to have met so many wonderful folks, mostly through politics. My children keep me grounded when I feel myself believing all the hype. There is a humorous response to almost every situation. If you don't believe me, I suggest you get that stick surgically removed. |
