| Introduction | Sylvan Celtic Fellowship is a Metrolina based Celto-Druidic group dedicated to creating a Celtic hearth based culture and Druids to serve it. We embrace ALL forms of Celtic worship like Celtic-influenced Wicca, Celtic Reconstructionism, Romantic Revivalist Druidry, Neo-Druidry and even Celtic Christianity. We feel that ALL are valid per the individual and can be beneficial to the needs of the tribal hearth culture we are trying to create for the future. We feel that there are several roles within Celtic paganism with “Druid” being one such role. We aim to make active roles for all aspects of our Fellowship from the role of "Druid" for clergy to roles like the "Warrior" for laity. We do not define our spiritual practice as "Druidism" since not everyone who practices it would consider themselves in the role of Druid. We refer to our spiritual practice as "Sencha" or ancestral customs. Not everyone may agree with our take, we realize that it takes all paths to lead to a higher truth. As such, we are open to all Druidic and Celtic paths as well as groups and individuals. |
